After Hezbollah leader Nasrallah was confirmed killed in an Israeli airstrike,Forex foreign exchange Iran, as his close ally, swiftly responded. According to reports by Global Times on September 28, sources revealed that Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei had been moved to a secure location.
That evening, Khamenei issued a statement condemning the large-scale attacks on Hezbollah and vehemently criticizing Israel's violent actions against Lebanese civilians. He stated, "The massacre of innocent Lebanese people by the adversary reveals their barbaric nature and exposes the shortsightedness and absurdity of their regime. They have not learned from last year's crimes in Gaza, nor have they realized that killing women and children cannot destroy the resistance forces." Khamenei emphasized that all resistance forces in the Middle East stand shoulder to shoulder with Hezbollah. He later took to social media to declare that Lebanon will make the aggressors pay.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, chairman of the "Support Palestinian Islamic Revolution Committee" within the Iranian presidency, also issued a statement saying that Iran had begun conscription registration in preparation for sending troops to Lebanon. He stated, "By public registration, the government will certainly approve the deployment of troops to Lebanon and the Golan Heights. We can send troops to Lebanon to fight Israel, just as we did in 1981."
These statements indicate that Iran is prepared to take further military action in support of Hezbollah if the situation in the Middle East escalates.
