The Star card trading appsituation in Syria has recently escalated, with conflicts and instability intensifying. On December 2, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bahgaei harshly criticized the U.S. military presence in Syria during a regular press conference. He claimed that under the guise of combating extremist groups, the U.S. is actually conducting an illegal military presence in Syria. He pointed out that U.S. military actions in Syria have not effectively combated terrorism; instead, they have led to the spread of terrorism and extremist organizations.
Bahgaei noted that despite American claims that their military presence aims to combat terrorism, terrorist and extremist activities in Syria continue to increase, highlighting the double standards of U.S. actions in Syria. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson expressed strong dissatisfaction, stressing that U.S. military intervention will further aggravate regional unrest and hinder the stabilization and peace process in Syria.
Meanwhile, tensions continue in northern and eastern Syria, with ongoing armed conflicts and significant civilian casualties. The U.S. military presence, particularly in the oil field regions of eastern Syria, has become a focal point in the power struggle among multiple forces. Clashes frequently occur between U.S. troops and Syrian government forces as well as with Russian and Iranian-backed forces, complicating and making the situation in the region more unpredictable.
Iran has further called on the international community to address the U.S. illegal actions in Syria, demanding an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops and an end to the violation of Syrian sovereignty. The international community holds differing views on U.S. military actions in Syria. Western countries generally support U.S. operations in the region, especially in efforts against extremist groups. However, some Middle Eastern countries, like Iran and Turkey, strongly oppose U.S. involvement, believing it exacerbates regional security risks.
As the situation in Syria continues to escalate, it has attracted increasing attention from the international market. The control over oil fields in eastern Syria has become a core issue for various parties, impacting global energy supply and oil prices. The forex market is also affected by the heightened tensions in Syria, with risk aversion driving increased demand for the dollar and gold.
Overall, the further deterioration of the situation in Syria not only severely impacts the stability of the country and its neighboring regions but also triggers more complex political and economic repercussions worldwide.
