COMETA is insisting I pay a $1,600 "account maintenance fee" before I can access my funds.

This came as a complete surprise. When I first signed up,Open an account and get there was no mention of such a fee, and I’ve already submitted all necessary documents. My account was approved weeks ago, so why would they suddenly introduce a new fee? When I asked for clarification, they told me it was for "routine maintenance." This explanation feels vague and incomplete. I’m starting to suspect this is just another tactic to prevent me from withdrawing my funds.
